CORONAVIRUS – An Announcement From The Platinum Motor Group
As a result of the government statement made by Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday 23rd March at 8.30pm, the Directors of the Platinum Motor Group have decided with much regret to close the Platinum Motor Group by the close of business on Tuesday 24th March until further notice, likely to be 3 weeks as a minimum, as the government has said it will review the freedom of movement restrictions at that point.
We therefore ask all of our valued customers who may read this post today to contact our businesses as soon as possible should they need anything from us.
Further clarification was made by Michael Gove in an interview this morning with regard to garages and dealerships whereby it is possible to open our aftersales facilities in a very limited capacity for emergency repair work and MOT’s during this time. We will therefore look to see if this can be made to work in the Platinum Motor Group during this shutdown period – we will post further updates on this and related Coronavirus matters as and when we have something new to say in what is obviously a very fast-moving and fluid situation where things can change quickly.
Though our premises may be closed, we are still working in the background, so please contact the Platinum Motor Group via our websites during this unprecedented period and we will do our best to help you in any way we can.
